I believe in placing our Great Dane puppies in homes most suited for the energy levels and drives of the dogs . The puppy application will allow you to fill in your preferred color(s) and gender, and from there I will work with you in a very transparent manner to help place the puppy most suited for your needs and your household. Ideally, sport prospects will be placed in sport or more active homes. If a cozy home lifstyle is more your speed, I will aim to place my more laid-back puppies with you. To determine personalities, a temperament test may be performed, like the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test, or we will be evaluating the puppies as they grow for proper placements. I do take gender into account as males and females tend to have different personalities. Puppies are so much more than just their looks, they have indivual personalities and tempermants. This litter will have a mix of temperaments and drives. We utilize Volhard testing to help guarantee that you have the right puppy for your lifestyle. This may look like needing to take your puppy on more walks than you wanted, or maybe this puppy is more independant and not as cuddly as you are wanting. a $500 deposit will hold your place on the waitlist, and that will go towards the total cost.

- Vet check before going home
All puppies will go home with a document of good health from the verterinarian They will have a 2 year genetic health guarantee that is a part of the puppy contract, microchips, a welcome-home bag, and a new puppy informational packet with everythiing I recommend to you as a puppy buyer. I hope to prepare my buyers with all the necessary information so that you do not feel that you have to go to random people on Facebook for help.
Socialization and Potty Training:

Puppies will also have a head start on potty training as I start this process when they are around 4 weeks old.

Ear Cropping:
Puppy ear cropping is available if requested. Puppies will be cropped at 6 weeks old and remain with me until bandages are off and stitches are healed (they should be good to go home at 8 weeks still). The cost for ear cropping is $500
What is Ear Cropping: Ear cropping is a procedure done under anesthesia by a licensed Veterinarian specifically trained in this art. The puppies are asleep the whole time and then are given pain medicines afterwards. In most cases, puppies are playing again as soon as they are home from surgery.
I do support ear cropping, however it is a commitment and not always easy. Tape needs to be changed every 3-7 days and it can take months for your dog's ears to stand. Kailua's stood at 7 months, she was cropped at 10 weeks old. Please reach out if you have any questions about the cropping process.
