What does this jargon mean?
Kailua's registered name is listed above. Kailua is Hawaiian meaning "two seas". Zwei Meere means "two seas" in German, an homage to her breeder's kennel, Blaue Weide Danes.
TKI - Trick Dog Intermediate. Kailua has earned first her Novice Trick Dog title and then earned her Intermediate.
BCAT- Kailua is currently sitting at the #1 spot for Great Danes in 2024 for FastCat.
CGC- Canine Good Citizen.
RI- Rally Intermediate.
FITB- Fit Dog Bronze.
All of these show both her athletic ability and drive as well as her trainbility and temperment. I love to see a Great Dane that is what the breed was orignally created for and has drive. To balance that, Kailua has a great, trainable temperment that loves other dogs, people, and has a great on/off switch
